Patina's Story

The vision for this gown was immediate. Its soft, tiered silhouette and warm, creamy gold tone called for something with a sense of age and transformation—metallic, yet softened over time, like a copper patina.
I deepened each layer with tones of rust, coral, and burnt orange, then cooled with unexpected notes of plum and navy that emerge into a bright teal. Each lace detail is individually finished with copper and teal rhinestones as well as pearls, scattered organically to catch the light.

A study in balance, the gown moves between warmth and cool, structure and softness.
This piece was later featured in The New York Times

Sizing & Alterations Guide

To ensure a good fit, compare your measurements to the gowns. The dress should be very close to your measurements, or slightly larger, so it can be taken in for the perfect fit.

Bust (B) This is the circumference around the fullest part of your chest.
Waist (W) The smallest circumference around your stomach/belly button.
Hip (H) The fullest circumference around your pelvic/buttocks area.

Keep the tape measure level when measuring and get help for the best results.
Hem alterations can be adjusted through the waistline of the gown.

~ Don't be afraid to make changes to the neckline or sleeves with your seamstress. I want you to make the dress fit seamlessly to flatter your features and shape.
