Nº2. SHOPPING GUIDES

  • Since bridal sizes are so ridiculous I use inches.

    • Bust (B) — This is the circumference around the fullest part of your chest.

    • Waist (W) — Your smallest circumference around your stomach.

    • Hip (H) — The fullest circumference around your pelvic/buttocks area.

    • Waist to Floor — This is the straight distance from your waistline to where the dress will hit the floor.

    — Keep the tape measure level when measuring and get help for the best results!
    — Look for a dress that fits your largest circumference.

ALWAYS look for a dress slightly bigger, never smaller.
    — You can get alterations to have the gown taken in.
    — I recommend staying within 5 inches to avoid drastic alterations.

  • Since I don't factory produce gowns, all dresses are limited edition. Often I only make one of each dress. So the sizes I have in stock fluctuate and my stock is frequently limited.

If you don't see a gown here for you check out my works in progress blog post. The perfect dress for you might be in the making! Sizes are listed. Also, hop on my email newsletter; this gives you first access to new gowns since most sell before I post to social media.

Lastly, all my accessories are very customizable so that you can add that perfect touch of color to your bridal look. Veils like my Ruffle Edge Drop are designed to give you that ombre gown look without needing to wait for the perfect dress to pop up here.

  • I want you to love your dress and not be stuck with it. For this reason, ready-made online bridal gown purchases have a 7-day try-on period from the date the dress is received.

During these seven days, the dress can be returned for any reason at no cost to you.

Once the seven days have passed, the dress sale is final. If you need any alterations, I suggest meeting with your local tailor to get an idea of the cost and feasibility of the alteration during this 7-day try-on period.
(For Read-Made Only, no returns accepted for all custom gowns and accessories)

  • Do you offer plus sizes?

Yes, I try to maintain a variety and carry just about every size, including plus sizes up to 32W.
    — My most common sizes are between a standard 8 and 20W
    — If a dress your size is not available consider taking a larger dress in with alterations.
    — I recommend only going up 5 inches so alterations are not drastic.

    What about hem alterations?

Most gowns can be taken up at the waistline. If your tailor does not offer this, see another tailor.
    — I also included specifics regarding hemming in the listing of each gown.

How do I clean the dress?

If you purchase a gown from me, one free cleaning is included with your order. Just cover to and from shipping.
    — I hand wash each dress since dry cleaning uses harsh chemicals that strip things like paint.
    — I also have listed instructions on how to hand wash your gown safely at home on my blog.

Can I put a dress on hold?

    After Purchase
    — I allow a 4-week max shipping hold and will still honor the return period within this time frame.
    — I can hold the dress for longer; however, the return period would be void, and the sale final.

    Before Purchase
    — On gowns that have been listed longer than three days, I allow 24-hour holds to accommodate acquiring funds or payment problems.
    — After one week, I allow holds for in-person try-ons. See notes under Try-On Locations for more details.

Click here to request a hold.

    International Orders?

I only service within the United States; I do not offer international shipping.
    — If you will be visiting the United States and have an address you can ship to, you can use that address to place your order. Please get in touch with me first to ensure the timing works out.
    — If you are using a service to forward the package to you, be aware that returns may not be accepted due to the timing and return shipping.

    Try-On Location?

I do not have a retail location. I make these from my home in Kansas City, MO.
    — If you are local, you can book a try-on of a single gown with my seamstress, who has a fitting room in her home. Email me to find a time that works in the upcoming weeks; the gown will be put on hold until your try-on.
    — Try-ons do have a cleaning fee. This fee will go toward the dress if you purchase it.

Click here to request a try-on appointment.

It won’t let me Add To Cart?

It might already be in your Cart. To check your cart, click the shopping bag icon (top right).
    — Since each dress is limited , the checkout will not allow you to add more than one.

    The payment won’t go through?

This is common. Typically, your bank needs to approve the transaction, which may take 1-2 days.
    — If you are experiencing this problem, please email me here to have the dress put on a temporary hold.

    Did I miss your question?

I operate this business entirely by myself; please be respectful of my time by keeping messages brief and checking the above questions first. I often have to close my contact form due to inbox floods. Currently, my inbox is open! To reach out to me, click here to be taken to my contact form.
