Details

  • The Rouge Veil is crafted with 108-inch-wide black Illusion tulle, and trimmed with a vibrant 9-inch ombre ruffle. As a drop veil, it features a blusher and blends naturally into your hair — no poof/gathering at the silver comb.

  • Shape
This veil will look amazing with any gown shape.

    Length
Cathedral dress? Get the Cathedral length. Otherwise, the Chapel length is perfect for most brides.

    Colors
The best-suited color gowns with this veil are ivory/cream/pink tones with a nude lining. As well as dresses that match the edge color or, of course, black gowns.

I would avoid bright white for this veil unless it is covered in glitter jewels or sequins.

    Fabrics
Satin, Tulle, and delicate laces will pair wonderfully; I would only avoid chunky all-over lace, which is popular on boho gowns.

I'd recommend a high glam aesthetic over rustic for this veil to be at its best.

  • Prep Before The Wedding
The color is completely permanent and safe to steam/press. Here are my suggestions for a flawless wedding day look.
    — Let the veil hang, train out in a safe room for 24hrs, this will help it self straighten and air out.
    — Steam out any remaining wrinkles.
    — Use a lint roller over any spots that have picked up hair or dust.
    — If the hem got really dirty at any point during try-ons you can spot clean it. Use a squirt bottle to drench/blast the dirt with a rag behind the fabric and another rag to blot from the front.

    Cleaning Your Veil After
These are hand wash only, DO NOT scrunch.
    — Best to hang it in a shower and rinse. Keep veil in natural shape as much as possible, no tumbling or swirling.
    — Use detergent and spot clean with a soft sponge if needed. Jet settings on hand held showers are great to remove dirt.
    — Shake lightly and hang to dry.

    Storage and Travel
An acid-free unbleached muslin travel bag is provided with your order to keep the dress safe.
    — Keep in a dry area and out of direct sun and with good air flow.
    — Do not place other items in with your veil.
    — NO plastic. Clothing kept in air-tight storage can get mildew.

  • Each veil and accessory I offer here has been designed and made from scratch in Kansas City, MO, USA.

I partnered with the talented Courtney at Roux Bridal, a local seamstress and couture dressmaker to create these.

Both my seamstress and I believe in quality over quantity. We take every step to ensure a well-constructed and designed item.

Here are some of the design details you can expect
    — ALL veils are in the 108” extra-wide fabric, which gives a voluminous look that can be pulled around your body.
    — All combs are wrapped, and clips are double-supported
    — No messy edges, all seams are clean and look the same front and back
    — Permanent coloring, unlike other dip-dye veils, there will be no color bleed or change with washing/rain.

Each is steamed and packed delicately, so it comes out of the box ready to wear. A cute hanger, travel bag, and full care guides are provided with every order.

My process for coloring each item is intensive. I go over every section front and back several times, and although it is a paint base, the application and treatments I have developed leave a soft, flowy finish and bright, smooth gradients.
